​​Founded in 2019, Moonstone Ceremonies was created to honour life’s valuable moments.

 

I have been interested in spirituality and religion from a young age and have always loved ceremonies, rituals, and celebrations. I worked and lived at an intentional yogic community on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia and have had a spiritual yoga practice for more than 25 years.

 

I studied ceremony and ritual through the non-profit Celebrant Foundation and Institute (CF&I), headquartered in New Jersey and received training to perform Weddings and Ceremonies Across the Life Cycle. I am registered to perform legal weddings within the Province of Ontario by the Registrar General of Ontario and I am ordained as a Reverend with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry.

 

My studies prior to becoming a Life-Cycle Celebrant and Wedding Officiant in Guelph, Ontario include Environmental Studies at York University, where I graduated with an undergraduate and masters degree focused on Environmental Conservation and Urban Planning.

 

During the summer of 2021, my partner, Oliver and I were married by a fellow Life-Cycle Celebrant. I have been part of the rich community in Guelph since 2012, where Oliver and I currently reside with our golden doodle, Ramona.
